Motin Yeung, student of Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, won first place in the Golfweek/FCWT Holiday Invitational. The tournament was held December 21-23, 2006 and Motin finished 9 strokes below the closest competitor in his Boys 13-15 division!

Noon Huachai

Noon Huachai, student of Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, has recently qualified for the 2007 FUTURES Tour. Noon finished T13th at the Qualifying Tournament, held at Cleveland Heights Golf Course in Lakeland, Florida.

Vicky Hurst, student of Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, recently became the Individual Florida State Champion by finishing 1st at the 2006 FHSAA Girls Class 1A Golf Finals. Vicky finished the tournament with a comfortable 4 stroke lead to the nearest competitor. In addition, Vicky competed in the 2007 U.S. Women's Open and is ranked 5th in the country for juniors.

Michael 'Mustang' Tang

Recently, Michael Tang, a student of Grand Cypress Academy of Golf finished in first place at the Mission Inn Junior Golf Classic.  Michael finished first against 89 other players in four rounds, including a playoff against the runner up.

Simin Feng

Simin Feng, student at Grand Cypress and shown with Fred Griffin, won the 2007 Junior All-Star at Toftrees (American Junior Golf Association). Soon after, she won her first Florida Junior Tour event at Disney's Palm Course in November.
