The Western Trail ride departs from a small rustic barn located on the south side of the resort, near the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. The Western Trail Ride is a guided ride through typical Florida scrub pine habitat and is suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. This Florida horseback riding experience is a perfect way to spend time as a family or just to gather your thoughts in the serenity of Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando. You'll feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of civilization as you ride through the woods along our shaded trails.

This guided ride in western tack departs at regularly scheduled times from the Western Trail Barn. For a more secluded experience, try our private rides, and no other guests will be booked on your ride.

For all rides, the minimum age is 10; maximum weight is 220 pounds. Reservations are required.

Walk Only  -  $45 plus tax
45 minute guided ride, ideal for beginners with no experience necessary.

Walk/Trot  -  $55 plus tax
45 minute guided ride, some experience recommended.

Walk/Trot/Canter  -  $65 plus tax
45 minute guided ride, perfect for the experienced rider. Advanced rides scheduled Wed., Fri., and Sun. at 9am.

Private Western Trail Ride  -  $85 plus tax
45-50 minute guided ride. No other guests will be booked on your ride, you choose the pace.
