Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Compliance Overview

The Villas of Grand Cypress is proud and honored to offer our guests with disabilities the following accessibilities.

At our Villa Registration building, handicap parking is available.  Just inside, the Lobby offers an extended shelf at the registration desk that is wheelchair accessible.

Clubhouse

Handicap parking is also available at the Clubhouse. The concierge desk is located in our Clubhouse to assist guests with inquires. The entrance, accessible by wheelchairs, consists of an electric door that opens easily.  Our two on-site restaurants, The Club and NINE18 are also wheelchair accessible.

Grand Cypress Golf Club

Also located in the Clubhouse is our Pro Shop where guests wishing to to make a purchase or check in for golf may do so at our ADA compliant counter.  Carts are available for disabled golfers and our men's and ladies locker rooms are ADA compliant with wheelchair accessible shower stalls and handicap bathroom stalls.  

Accommodations

Club Suite Double ADA

We have 2 Club Suites with 2 double beds designated ADA accessible. Our smallest accommodation option totaling 650 square feet, features private entries from the outside with 36” wide door with peep hole, a patio overlooking the fairways or waterways of the North Course, two open framed double beds, an oversized bathroom featuring a tub with grab rails, glass-enclosed roll-in shower and 18” toilet with grab rails and flush lever.  Also included in these rooms, equipment for hearing impaired guests.

One Bedroom Villa ADA

For those needing more room, we have 2 One Bedroom Villas designated ADA accessible.  This villa features 1,150 square feet of expansive living spaces and private entries from the outside with a 36" wide door with peep hole.  The large sleeping room with open framed King bed is connected to a living room, dining room.  The fully equipped kitchen features lower countertops and wheelchair accessibility.  An oversized bathroom features a jacuzzi tub with grab rails, glass-enclosed roll-in shower and 18" toilet with grab rails and flush lever.  The Villa also features an outdoor patio overlooking the fairways and waterways of the North Course.  Also included in these rooms, equipment for hearing impaired guests.

2 Bedroom Villa ADA

And for those needing even more room, we can combine the ADA compliant Club Suites and 1 bedroom Villas to offer 2 ADA compliant 2 bedroom Villas with 1,800 square feet of space.  This single-story unit offers a private entry from the outside with 36" wide door with peep hole and one bedroom featuring an open framed King bed and the other two open framed double beds.  The two master bedrooms each have a private bathroom featuring a tub with grab rails, glass-enclosed roll-in shower and 18" toilet with grab rails and flush lever.  The common living space includes a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen.  The Villa offers a private patio overlooking the fairways or waterways of the North Course.

Executive Meeting Center

Our Executive Meeting Center features 10,480 square feet of meeting space all on one level.  All restrooms include handicap stalls and are wheelchair accessible.

Outdoor Amenities

Our outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and restrooms are ADA compliant with a lift and wheelchair accessibility.  Our internal shuttles are equipped with lifts to help our guests in wheelchairs.
