Hunter Show


			Throughout the year, the Grand Cypress Equestrian Center hosts several public Hunter Shows. Competitors come to be judged on their equitation in the walk, trot, canter, and over a course of fences within the Hunter Divisions. We look forward to seeing you at the next show! GENERAL INFORMATION

Ring 1 has priority over Ring 2.
Shows follow USEF rules as closely as possible.
ASTM/SEI headgear required for all riders when mounted.
Proper attire required for riders; jackets may be excused at the judge's discretion.
Stalls available on a limited basis after 3 pm the day before the show. Reservations required. Stall must be paid for in advance and is non-refundable.
Judges' decisions are final.
Dates and judges subject to change.
Classes may be divided if entries warrant.
No alcoholic beverages.
All dogs must be leashed - 6' Leash Maximum.

Trainers' Incentive: To be awarded to the trainers whose students accumulate the most points in the show. Points will be awarded 5, 3, 2, 1 for 1st through 3rd place respectively. Champions are worth 10 points; Reserve, 8 points. For ribbons to be credited, the trainer's name must be listed on the student's entry form. Each trainer must submit an itemized list indicating the riders' numbers, names, class numbers and placing. This list must be submitted to the show secretary by the end of the show. A trainer must be at least 21 years old.
