Based on British Horse Society programs and standards, the Junior Riding Camps provide instruction with a low student-to-trainer ratio in: Riding Basics and Safety, Horsemanship Skills, Jumping & Flatwork, and Stable Management. Much of the time will be spent riding with the remainder spent learning all about horses and how to care for them!

The Carrot Crunchers Camp is for students of all levels. Students will be placed in appropriate groups, based on their riding experience. Sessions are one week (M-F): 9:00am-Noon or 1:30pm-4:30pm.

Fees: $280 (2nd child or 2nd session: $260)

Our Carrot Crunchers Camps are open to ages 8 through 15. A minimum of one half-hour private lesson is required to prepare for all camps at the cost of $45. Pre-camp lessons can be arranged by contacting us at 407.239.1938 (877.330.7377 toll free) or by e-mail.

Policies and Important Information
All campers and their parents must agree to our terms and conditions. Registration forms are available on-line for camp sessions. Completed forms can be mailed or faxed to us. Credit cards, cash and checks are accepted and payments must be received in advance.

Maximum of eight children per session, minimum of three. Required Equipment & Apparel: Children must wear an ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet at all times when mounted. Bring your own if you have one. Otherwise, the Center will provide it at no charge. (Bike helmets are not suitable.) Footwear: Hard/smooth-soled boots with a small heel. No sneakers or 'chunky- soled' shoes. Apparel: Long pants or leggings, preferably riding tights or jods. Our Tack Shop attendants can assist you in finding the appropriate riding apparel and safety equipment. Special $45 price on one (1) half-hour private lessons is only available to registered campers.
